about us

The Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Northern Utah (WRCNU) is a young nonprofit (501(c)(3) organization coming out of a local nature center’s decision to close down their wild bird rehabilitation facility back in June of 2009.

Our Mission Statement is:
"Through wildlife rehabilitation and education we will empower the community to engage in conservation and responsible stewardship of wildlife and habitat."

Our shortened Mission Statement version is:
“Rehabilitation, Education and Release”

If you have questions regarding sick, injured or orphaned native birds or would like to join our volunteer force you may call our wildlife specialists at (801)-814-7888

WRCNU is the only rehabilitation center in Northern Utah. Without this much needed service there are no good options for wildlife in Northern Utah.

Please consider a donation to allow us to continue our wildlife rehabilitation and conservation education efforts. For donation information go to our “Donation” page. WRC Board of Directors
